Kudos to Carla Gomes and co-authors of paper “Phase-Mapper: An AI Platform to Accelerate High Throughput Materials Discovery,” which was awarded the Innovation Application Award at the 19th Conference on Innovative Applications of Artificial Intelligence (IAAI) 2017. The development of Phase-Mapper was led by the Gomes research group at Cornell University and its deployment for materials discovery was led by the Gregoire group at the Joint Center of Artificial Photosynthesis at Caltech.
