Alexander "Sasha" Rush, associate professor of Computer Science at Cornell Tech, joined Dhruv Batra for an episode of the podcast "Humans of AI."
In Batra's introduction to the second season, he suggested that the popular, in some cases mythological, reputations of researchers may get in the way of a better understanding of their lives—that is, as people who study artificial intelligence. To compensate, Batra said these podcast conversations engage the "real, messy, multidimensional humans behind the work that we see." The dialogues offer a "chance to get to know the humans of AI and their stories—not their stats."
