The open house for the Game Design Initiative at Cornell went really
well in December...we had about 200 people, including children and
teens and many others from the community. The Syracuse Post-Standard
ran a great front-page article about our efforts and the event.
Thanks to everyone who made it such a success!

All of the student games that we showcased are available for
download at http://www.cs.cornell.edu/projects/game/2003fa/index.html
(click on "Student Projects").

Many of our students have expressed interest in continuing to work on
their games. We will be posting new versions and updates, so please
check back often :-)

We're also still recruiting for the Spring 2004 semester. We have
opportunities for students in art and music (no programming experience
required), as well computer science and engineering (COM S/ENGRD 211
or equivalent experience required). Please e-mail dis@cs.cornell.edu
to apply...please indicate your field, game design experience (none
required), and reason for applying.

We hope to see everyone on May 12, 2004 for the next open house!
