CS Professor Fred B. Schneider will be speaking at Harvard University's Center for Research on Computation and Society, giving a lecture titled "Divide and Be Conquered: Separation of Concerns for Trustworthiness", on April 14, 2005.

According to the website, "During 2004-2005 the Center will host a series of public talks by leading thinkers who will explore a wide-range of areas".  The other speakers are Butler Lampson, Louise Richardson, Al Spector, and Barbara Simons.

CS Professor Juris Hartmanis spoke on January 14 as part of the Dean's Lecture Series at the University of Florida. The topic was " A Global View of Computer Science and Information Technology " .
