Manual Workshop

Today’s lab should be spent trying finish your Game Manual which is due before the welness days start. Designers should bring their other team members (the ones involved in the code walkthrough) up to speed about the current status of the game manual. Remember that, at a minimum, the manual should have the following:

  • The systems requirements for your game
  • Instructions for installing and uninstalling your game
  • An outline of the basic objective in your game
  • Basic instructions on the controls of your game
  • The game credits (including any assets that need attribution)

While we are experimenting with a video requirement for Showcase, this is not necessary for this week.

You may also use this class time to work on the Beta Release which will be presented when you get back from break. Make use of this time to consult with the course staff over any problems you might be having.
