Here's a list of the "vocabulary" we've discussed. Commands
listed in parentheses were discussed on the blackboard rather than
in slides.
- Lec01: ls, cd, pwd, mv, cp, rm, man
- Lec02: mkdir, rmdir, cat, touch, less, chmod (nano)
- Lec03: echo, which, set, setenv (alias)
- Lec04: head, tail, wc, sort, jobs, fg, bg, kill, ps, top (find)
- Lec05: grep, tr (file)
- Lec06: sed, awk
- Lec07: mount, df, du -k, ln -s
- Lec08: if/then/else/fi, test, for/in/do/done
- Lec09: expr, while/until/do/done, case/in/esac, shift, getopts
