Step 8. Paste your image onto the new canvas by selecting "Paste" from the Edit menu at the top of the Paint window. Make sure the screenshot is placed at the top-left corner of the canvas if the canvas is larger than your screenshot selection. If necessary, you can move the item by clicking inside the selection and dragging it.
