If you have a regrade request, please submit it on Gradescope by 11am (EDT) on Monday, 4/13.

Solutions will be posted later; please do not just read them! If you have done poorly on a question, you will learn much more by re-doing it, perhaps in the presence of a member of the course staff for help, than by just reading the solutions!

You can work individually or with one project partner (your partner does not need to be in the same discussion section as you). In future projects you may work with a different partner or individually as you wish. If you work with a partner, be sure to form your group in CMS before you submit any file (see CMS).
Since this is an introductory course, and in order to give you practice on specific programming constructs, some Matlab functions/features are forbidden in assignments; only the built-in functions that have been discussed in class or the assigned reading so far may be used.
1/27 M Discussion location Discussion this week will be in the Upson 225 computer lab (not the classroom listed on Student Center).
1/20 M file storage You will write and store many files, so it is important to be organized! On your laptop, flash drive, or cloud drive, set up a folder (directory) for CS1112 and subfolders (subdirectories) for weekly exercises, projects, and lectures. Here is an example hierarchy:
cs1112\
      exercise\
              ex1\
              ex2\
              ex3\
      project\
              proj1\
              proj2\
      lecture\
              lec2\
              lec3\

..., etc.
