Lab Cat

Some of you may ask why I included Lab Cat in this little game. The answer, of course, is that I didn't: I merely left my computer in my office over the weekend, and when I got back I found the assignment had been modified and my keyboard was sprinkled with orange fur... That being said, Lab Cat cleverly demonstrated a couple of features that may come in handy for C1 (always helpful, that one). Namely, how to trigger events and how to create timed actions, which you can use to create animations. We'll look at these more closely when you switch gears to work on C1. Thanks Lab Cat!

Hiding From Lab Cat

If Lab Cat's cold hard stare is a bit too piercing for you, you can turn it off by setting the following variable to false in CatamariGameConfigs

static LabCatIsWatching:boolean=false; // Lab Cat is always watching, but since this is a simulation we can choose to simulate a world where that is no longer true.
