Abstract:

Hi there! I'm currently a PhD student in computer graphics at Cornell University. I did my undergraduate in EECS at UC Berkeley, and then worked at a video game company for a year before deciding to pursue a PhD in 2007. My primary research interests are: efficient physical simulation, physically based sound synthesis, and real-time virtual worlds. My advisor is Doug James.

  • My hobbies include playing guitar and singing, skiing/snowboarding, long boarding, windsurfing, sailing, video games, and traveling (check out my photos from Iceland!).
  • There's no "correct" pronunciation for my last name in English, but saying it like "on" is fine.
  • Here's a cool calendar interface I've been working on in my spare time.
  • Here's a New York geography game I made with a friend for the Ithaca School District.
