Materials
Classtime
Classtime in this course is a mixture of lectures, presentation, and critique. You should always look at the schedule ahead of time so that you are prepared for class.
Lectures
This class includes a wide variety of lectures intended to help you make the best game that you can. Some lectures focus on the technical aspects of game development, while some are more design oriented. Lectures in this course are not recorded.
Labs
Unlike the introductory course, there are no game labs in this course (they replaced by the independent activities which happen outside of class). All labs in this course are ENGRC labs to help you with design and documentation.
Reading
This course does not have a textbook. With that said, there is a lot of reading out there that you might find useful. This page links to those sources.
Code Samples
There is a lot to learn about the game engine that we will be using for this course. Many students find that they learn best, not by reading the API, but by looking at sample code. Here we gather some of the more useful samples that we have created over the years.
