CS 467
Graphics II

Instructor: Kavita Bala

Cornell University Computer Science Department, Spring '07

Overview

CS 467 covers advanced graphics topics with a focus on interactive techniques. This course covers the following topics: the modern graphics pipeline, texturing, shadowing, shading, modeling, indirect illumination, and animation, among other topics.

CS 467 focuses on the theoretical basis of these topics, while in CS 468, the practicum associated with CS 467, we cover practical implementation issues. We have several programming assignments for CS 467/468. Additionally, in CS 468 groups of two will build an interactive 3D game illustrating the various concepts from CS 467.

CS 465 is a pre-requisite for this course. If you have taken the equivalent of CS 465 contact the instructor about taking 467. You can register for CS 467 and not 468.
