Bio:
I am a fifth-year PhD student at Cornell University in the Department of Computer Science since 2009. My advisor is Prof. Thorsten Joachims. Before going overseas I received B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics from University in Ljubljana. Between 2008 and 2009 I worked as a researcher at Jozef Stefan Institute.
Research Interests:
- Machine Learning (SVMs, structured prediction, data and text mining, big data)
- Information Retrieval and Ranking (search, ranking algorithms)
- Summarization (submodular optimization, temporal and comparative summaries)
- User Generated Content (crowdsourcing, user feedback and models)
