Impact

• We collaborated with cloud data platform Snowflake on FLOE, which is slated to be deployed in production at Snowflake. See here for open-source reference implementations and specification of FLOE.
• Our work on attacks against password managers led to deployed security fixes for various password managers, and to bug bounty awards from various of the affected vendors.
• Our work on attacks against E2EE backups led to deployed improvements in the design of Signal's backups, and to a bug bounty award from Meta.
• Our work on the (in)compatibility of E2EE and AI influenced policy recommendations issued by the International Partnership for Information and Democracy, an intergovermental partnership of 57 countries.
