Dexter Kozen is the Joseph Newton Pew, Jr. Professor of Engineering Emeritus in the Department of Computer Science. His research interests span topics on the boundary of computer science and mathematics: design and analysis of algorithms, computational complexity theory, complexity of decision problems in logic and algebra, and logics and semantics of programming languages. He is the author of more than 200 research articles and four books. Kozen is a former Guggenheim fellow and a fellow of the Association of Computing Machinery, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the European Association of Theoretical Computer Science. He is a recipient of the John G. Kemeny Prize in Computing, an IBM Outstanding Innovation Award, the EATCS Award, the IEEE W. Wallace McDowell Award, and the ACM Alonzo Church Award.

Hadas Kress-Gazit is the Geoffrey S.M. Hedrick Sr. Professor at the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University, and the Associate Dean for Diversity and Academic Affairs of Cornell’s College of Engineering. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical and Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and has been at Cornell since 2009. Her research focuses on formal methods for robotics and automation and more specifically on synthesis for robotics – automatically creating verifiable robot controllers for complex high-level tasks.

Volodymyr Kuleshov is the Joan Eliasoph, M.D. Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Cornell Tech, the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute, and the Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science. He obtained his Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University, where he received the Arthur Samuel Best Thesis Award.

Daniel D. Lee is the Tisch University Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell Tech and Cornell Engineering. He recently served as global head of AI for Samsung Research. Lee received his B.A. summa cum laude in physics from Harvard University and his Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was previously a researcher at Bell Labs in the theoretical physics and biological computation departments.

Owolabi Legunsen is an assistant professor of computer science. He is part of the Software Engineering Group and is broadly interested in research on software engineering, with a focus on software testing and runtime verification. Legunsen completed his Ph.D. in computer science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, his master's degree in computer science at the University of Texas at Dallas, and his B.Sc. in computer engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He has received three ACM SIGSOFT distinguished paper awards (ASE 2016, ISSTA 2023, ISSTA 2024), an NSF CAREER Award, an Intel Rising Star Faculty Award, and a Microsoft Faculty Research Fellowship Finalist designation.
