Graded Project 2 printouts are available in UP360.
- Project Tournament: the Lambda-Craft
tournament will take place Wednesday December 13 at 6pm, in
Phillips 203.
Please submit in CMS a file
units.cl that contains your Lambda-Craft
units for the tournament.
- Please remember to fill in a course evaluation (click

Nov 28: The signup sheet for Project 2 meetings has
been posted on the door of Upson 360.
- Project 2 (Lambda-Craft Game) released: Due December 10, 11:00pm.
The assignment document and the stub files are available in the
Assignments link of this page.
- Prelim 2 exam reminder: Tuesday November 14,
at 7:30pm in HO B14. The exam will cover the material discussed after the
first prelim - data structures, asymptotic and amortized complexity of data
structure manipulations, the environment model, garbage collection, type
checking and type inference. The exam might also include general questions about
SML.
- Reminder: checkpoint submission due Wednesday November 8.
- Nov 6: we have updated the stub files for Project 1. Please see the newsgroup post.
- Oct 30: use this
sources.cm file to compile the code with CM.
Place this file in the /proj1
directory and run "
sml sources.cm".
- Oct 27: the zip file with the code for project 1 can
be downloaded from the assignments page, or from CMS.
- Project 1 has been
posted. It is due Thursday November 16. There is also a checkpoint submission
due November 8.
- Prelim 1 solutions are available on the sample exams
page.
- Oct 17: Part 2: Please download the signature
file
hashmap.sig
and have your HashMap implement this signature.
- Oct 12: PS4, written problem: questions
4b) and
4c) have been updated to correct an error.
- Prelim 1: Thursday October 12, 7:30pm in

Problem Set 4 has been released. It is
due Wednesday October 25.
- PS3 deadline has been extended by one day: it
is due Thursday, October 5, at 11pm.
- Oct 2: the stub file
trie.sig
has been updated: value empty has been added, and the type
of function get has been changed according to the
assignment. Please download it from the updated ps3 zip file.
- PS3 compression/decompression executables are
now available. See the assignment page for details.

Problem Set 3 has been posted. It is
due Wednesday October 4.
- PS2 part 4 clarification: use "sin",
"cos", "ln" and "exp" to refer to these
functions in the strings you are parsing.
- Graded PS1 printouts can be picked up from the
Homework Distribution Room in Upson 360 starting Monday 9/18.

Sample
solutions for Problem Set 1 have been posted in CMS.
- Problem
Set 2 has been posted. It is due Wednesday September 20.
- PS1, Part 2: write the binary function yourselves, without using the
library function that does the conversion. The goal of this problem is
that work out the algorithm.
