Remote Access to MATLAB
If remote access is non-functional at any time,
just walk into a public computer lab in the Engineering Quad
to use MATLAB. You should save your files frequently
and always copy them from the remote server onto your own machine.
Installing supporting software and starting MATLAB

- Linux: Follow the Mac instructions starting from "Log on via SSH",
i.e., you should be able to skip the X Windows System software
installation because it is usually already on your linux system.
Please always log out of your remote session in addition to
closing MATLAB.
Five servers numbered 11 to 15 are available. If the server you are
using appears sluggish (due to heavy
traffic), log out of that session and try a different server.
Transfering files between local and remote machines
- Follow these instructions.
- Use the remote servers for storing ONLY your CS1112/1142/1132 work.
