Lectures

• Lectures provide an overall overview of the course material.
• We expect you to attend lecture Tuesday and Thursday each week.
• You may attend either the 9:05 or 11:15 lecture. We strive to maintain the same content.
• Beware that you may be quizzed during lecture.

• Sections clarify topics covered in lecture and concepts associated with exercises and projects.
• Sections sometimes cover topics introduced, or even not covered, in lecture.
• We distribute your graded homework and exams in the section that you specify on your papers.
• We send all uncollected work to Carpenter.
• You should attend the section for which you are registered.
• You may attend other sections if space allows, but remember that your graded work goes to the section you put on your papers.
• Beware that you may be quizzed during section.
• To switch sections, go through the standard add/drop procedure. Upson 303 has add/drop forms and can stamp approval. Note: normally, switching sections can be done without your advisor, and can be done past the normal add/drop deadline since you aren't really adding or dropping anything. [Note to self: in future, explain add/drop & regis form, how students can check out other sections]

CS100 students have priority in this lab.

You will find CS100 consultants, extra copies of handouts, unclaimed work, and posted announcements.

The Carpenter Lab is open when the Engineering Library is open.

Hours will be restricted during vacations and university holidays.

The labs have different hours during final exams.
