Note: I graduated with my PhD in Aug. 2014. My first employer is Google.

I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Cornell University. I work in the Database Group with Johannes Gehrke and Alan Demers. I obtained my B.S. in 2009 from Fudan University, Shanghai, China.

I am interested in database systems and cloud computing. In particular, my research focuses on building general optimization frameworks for data intensive applications in public clouds.
