Welcome to Hari Shreedharan's home page
I am a Computer Science graduate
student at Cornell University,
Ithaca, NY. My primary research interest is in Distributed Systems. My
current focus is on Fault Tolerant Replication in Distributed Systems.
I recently started working on this, and am currently "reading up." I
expect to do some good work on this, during the upcoming semester. I am
currently working with the Live
Distributed Objects Group on Fault Tolerant Membership protocols.
To
read more about my research, please visit the research
page.
I did my undergraduate studies at Malaviya National Institute
of Technology, Jaipur (http://mnit.ac.in).
I did my undergrad in Information Technology, taking up a random mix of
courses, trying to figure out what I was interested in, before finally
narrowing down on Systems.
I was a TA for Prof.
Ken Birman for the CS 4410:
Operating Systems course during Spring 09. I will be the TA for
this course once again, in Fall 09,
but with Prof. Emin
Gun Sirer.
