**Grading weights:**

*A0*: 3%.

*A1*: 20%.

*A2*: 13%.

*Guest lecture "quiz*": 1% (= extra credit for completion, since it was, after all, announced as mandatory).

*A3*: 13%.

*Competitions 1 and 2*: 50% altogether, competition 1 at least 25%; we'd like the two competitions to be of equal weight but if we end up having less time for competition 2 it will have less weight.

A1 karma will be factored in to final grade determination.

We tentatively plan to offer an extra-credit opportunity for A3.
