Document Revisions
Alpha is an incredibly important push in this course. You should effectively think of it as your “midterm”. Because of that reason, there are no new documents during the week of alpha release.
However we ask that you spend this time revising your documents. So far you have written
You should now have received feedback on all of these documents except the architecture specification (more on that below). It is therefore time for you to use that feedback to revise them.
This revision is semi-optional. If you absolutely feel like you must skip this step so that you can finish alpha, you may. We do not recommend this, as this asssignment counts as your second revision for these documents. If you do not submit them, you will not get an additional revision. The version that you submit for your final document portfolio will be your last revision and final grade for these documents.
The exception to this is the concept document. This assignment counts as your final submission for your concept document. So unless you are happy with your current grade (e.g. you have already made a 100), you should submit this revision.

As we said in class, we are splitting the due date into half. That is both to give you more time on alpha release this week, and to give us more time on the architecture specification (which is not complete). One the concept document is due before spring break. The other documents are due after you return from Spring Break. Specifically

- gameplay specification (2nd revision due Apr 13)
- design specification (2nd rrevision due Apr 13)
- architecture specification (2nd rrevision due Apr 13)
There is no new assignment in CMS for your revisions. Instead, we will give you an extension in CMS for the original assignments. You will submit your revision there in place of your original submission.
