Sections

Lecture Times

You are expected to attend lecture twice each week. While the 9:05 and 11:15 lectures are identical you must attend your assigned lecture. We do not necessarily have the room capacity for students to freely change between sections on a whim. If you are having troubles changing sections, contact Corey Torres.

Discussion Sections (Labs)

Labs sections are held twice as week and meet either Tuesday-Thursday or Wednesday-Friday. These labs are spread across several classrooms. Attendance is manadatory, in that some of the activities must be completed while you are physically present.

While this work can be made up outside of class in the case of excused absences, such absences are limited to sickness, Cornell sponsored events (e.g. athletics), and religious observances. In that case, you must notify your section leader listed in the table below in advance of your absence.

Computer Access

This year, both classrooms used for the discussion sections have computers. They have the required software installed and you can do your work on them With that said, you are welcome to use your own laptop if you wish, as long as you follow the do not use generative AI while you are in the lab.

Of the two labs, Phillips 318 is also available during consulting hours. This gives you a place to work during the semester if your computer is damaged or lost.
