Times & PlacesLecturesYou are expected to attend lecture twice each week. However, the 9:05 and 11:15 lectures are identical and you are permitted to attend either one of them.
Discussion Sections (Labs)Sections are held in 318 Phillips and in the ACCEL LAB in Carpenter Hall. The entrance to the ACCEL Lab is through the former Engineering Library. You should enter on the ground floor, walk straight until you can go no further, then go up the stairs on your left. As part of the lab, you will be given an assignment to do on a computer that will be checked off by the section instructor. The goal is to give you every opportunity to become fluent in the use of Python and to get you to learn important concepts within a week of their introduction. As with the lectures, you are welcome to attend the section of your chosing. However, there is limited space in the ACCEL lab and so priority is given to students who are enrolled in the current lab. If you have your own laptop, you are welcome (and encouraged) to bring it.
ExamsThis course will have two prelims and a final. The times and places of these exams, as well as the times for the review sessions, are given on this page.
