We run a weekly evening recitation session, which is completely under control of the course TAs, Theo Gkountouvas and Soham Sankaran. Some weeks will focus on concrete things, some weeks will be Q/A sessions. We may cancel recitations from time to time if there is no material to cover.
Recitation is optional and it mostly goes over topics for your project. So you should always check to see what the recitation will be covering, and attend if you would find that topic interesting or useful.
