Submit your graphic design(s) (Drop off a CD to 4115 Upson Hall) on or before November 5 to enter.  Label CD with your name and netid.

WHAT IS BOOM?

BOOM is an acronym which stands for 'Bits On Our Minds.' It is a one-day showcase of student efforts, projects and creativity in digital and technological applications. BOOM is sponsored by Computing and Information Science, and we encourage examples of student work from disciplines throughout Cornell University. Our BOOM 2004 event will be held on 3/3/04!

The Guidelines:

  1. Contest is open to Cornell students only
  2. The design should promote scientific exploration & excitement and contain the words 
    BOOM 2004
    along with the words "Bits on Our Minds".
  3. Submit your design(s) on a CD, as a .jpg or .gif
  4. Provide your original artwork file (Photoshop or equivalent)
  5. Deliver the CD to 4115 Upson Hall, Attn:  BOOM 2004 Committee (by November 5, 2003)
  6. You'll need to provide 2 versions of the same logo
    - one for web display (72 dpi) sized approximately 3 x 5 "
    - one hi-res (600 dpi for print) sized approximately 8 x 10 "
    - (full-color design preferred)
