CrossTeX is shipped with extensive bibliographic databases. Currently, these databases contain every article published in popular computer science conferences, derived from the DBLP project. The full list appears below.

Some users might not want to incur the overhead of including these databases which contain all the papers at the corresponding conferences, but might still want to have all conference names, dates and locations in a centralized repository. For such users, the following databases might be useful:

Hundreds of journals from many fields including Medicine, Sociology, and Meteorology have been copied from abbreviation databases included with JabRef and converted to @journal objects for CrossTeX to supplement the hand-built Computer Science journal database:

The following standard database is always included at run-time, and can be edited at each site to provide global control. It includes other important databases, such as the default databases providing hints for capitalizing titles in English with Computer Science terms.
