I am a first-year Ph.D. student at Cornell University. I obtained my B.S. degree in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, advised by Prof. Cewu Lu. I have also spent great times at Berkeley DeepDrive, working with Prof. Trevor Darrell and Dr. Fisher Yu.

My research interests lie in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and their intersections in Robotics.

Selected Projects

PyTORCS for Autonomous Driving Research

Implemented semantic segmentation for TORCS (The Open Racing Car Simulator) and constructed a Python interface as an OpenAI Gym environment for deep reinforcement learning and autonomous driving research.

Sentiment Analysis with Deep Learning

Constructed a large sentiment analysis dataset with 48k labeled reviews and trained a deep neural network that parallelly leverages recurrent and convolutional architectures, which achieves 87.47% prediction accuracy on our dataset.

Android Shock Drone

Built a real Rainbox Six Siege shock drone with live video streaming provided by a monocular camera mounted on it, and a supporting Android App implemeted with plenty of control mechanisms — joystick, gesture, voice, etc.
