Hey, there! I’m a third-year PhD student interested in Operating Systems, Parallel and Distributed Systems, and High Performance Computing.
I am co-advised by Dr. Robbert van Renesse1 and Dr. Lorenzo Alvisi2. I am working on a new kind of coordination-free protocol for a distributed shared log.
I started my PhD at the department of Computer Science at Cornell University in Fall 2020 Spring 2021 (thanks, COVID19!). In my first year, I worked with Dr. Rachit Agarwal3 on identifying throughput bottlenecks in end-host network stacks4.
From 2018 to 2020, I was a Research Fellow in the Systems Group5 at Microsoft Research where I worked on Project Gandiva6.
In 2018, I completed my undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi majoring in Computer Science, where I graduated top of my class7.
I have worked with languages like Scala, C, C++, Haskell, Python, C#, Java
, and technologies like RDMA, CUDA, Kubernetes, Docker, Android, LaTeX, MATLAB, *nix
.
In my free time I read Sci-Fi and Fantasy - I particularly love Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere8, and listen to Trance and House music.
