Teaching Portfolio
Professional Development
I have spent a considerable amount of time learning how to be a better teacher. I am currently working towards a graduate minor in Education, for which I have taken several courses. I also recently attended my first CS education conference, and look forward to being more engaged in this community in the future.

CONFERENCES
I was awarded a scholarship to attend the Second Symposium on Education Advances in Artificial Intelligence (EAAI-11). This was a great opportunity to learn more about the challenges faced by other AI educators, as well as new teaching ideas for some common topics. I also had the opportunity to talk with some CS professors from liberal arts colleges and learned much about the faculty experience at these types of schools.
