AFRICA - Summer 1998
Kenya -
The 'Charabgany' hills (over 3K meters high) were the first and one of the only places I've reached that Coca-Cola didn't. 3 days walk from any road, where people are what they used to be.

Malawi -
Till now there was no country I enjoyed better than Malawi, and that is mainly thanks to the people. No wonder they call it the warm hart of Africa.

Tanzania -
While safari trips cost 60$ a day (a fortune in local currency), the train from Dar-a-salam to Mbeya is a 24 hour ride through a game park, where hordes of zebras, families of elephants and the occasional giraffe is running next to you.

Uganda -
Pineapples are not what you buy at the supermarket. Not even the ones you might have had on a tropical island. The real thing is in Uganda, sweeter than sugar and as yellow as the sun.
