Abstract Image Factorization can be used to extract Geometry from a series of Images. We present a Novel Integration of Feature Detection, Feature Tracking, Image Factorization, Meshing and View Synthesis algorithms to automate the entire process of extracting a 3D Geometry from a sequence of Images. We call this Concatenation of Algorithms our Geometry Inference Engine (GIE). Extensive Market Research was conducted on the potential uses of the technology. We Describe in Detail the Implementation Specifics of all parts of the GIE. Experiments with the Engine and Conclusions on the technology are also presented. |
