Rachee Singh is an assistant professor of computer science at Cornell University where she leads the sysphotonics group. Her group develops systems and algorithms for efficient communication on server-scale, rack-scale, and long-haul photonic interconnects. We use these systems to improve the performance of important applications like distributed machine learning and general planet-scale cloud workloads.
She is also an Amazon Scholar in the SageMaker Hyperpod teams that specialize in large-scale ML infrastructure.
Singh received her Ph.D. and M.S. in computer science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her B.E. (Hons.) in computer science at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
