The following images are panoramic shots taken from Parliament
Hill on Hampstead Heath, London. These were taken without the
benefit of a tripod, and were stitched together by hand using
GIMP (the Gnu Image Manipulation Program). Given the imperfect
alignment, I used images scaled by 1/5 in each dimension rather
than the full-size images. Each panoramic image is on the order
      of 300MB.

"Still Life with Opus and Cranberry Sauce"

I'd originally positioned Opus with a wing on the can, and
then decided: no, he should be nonchalantly pretending the
cranberries aren't even there. It's all about attitude.
If you look closely, you can see the cranberries feel the
        same way about Opus.

It rained today and then got sunny, which is always unexpected
in Ithaca. I saw the water pooled on the railing by the side
entrance and decided I should get a shot of it.

The stone wall marks the beginning of East Hill, which extends
up to Cornell and beyond. There's a short length of wooden
fence in the upper left, which is on the property line.

We're letting the steps become overgrown because they're only
ever used by trespassers. The path above them is unmaintained
and can be somewhat treacherous. This view is from my kitchen.
