Curran Muhlberger is a lecturer of computer science. Since joining the Cornell faculty in 2019, he has led or co-led courses like Object-Oriented Programming and Data Structures (CS 2110) and Software Engineering (CS 5150), and has advised on student projects in several other courses. Among his awards and honors, he received the Excellence in Teaching Award from Cornell Bowers in 2022. Prior to joining Cornell, Muhlberger was an engineer with Space Exploration Technologies for several years. He received a Ph.D. in physics from Cornell in 2014, and bachelor’s degrees in physics, mathematics, and astronomy from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2008.
