DigiPaper Editor
Program
Installation Instructions
The DigiPaper Editor is available in the form of a JAR file containing the classes used
to run the program. It may be available as an executable in the future; however, the
current editor requires a java interpreter, such as Java Runtime Environment.
For experienced java application users:
- Application Name: COM.xerox.digipaper.applet.editor.LinkEditor
- Classpath: editor.jar
- This application uses the Java 1.0 Event model. This does not have any impact for 1.1
users.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Download JRE from this site: http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.1/jre/index.html
- Download editor.jar
- Find the application jre.exe and make a shortcut to it.
- Go to the shortcut properties, by right-clicking with the mouse and selecting
"Properties."
- Select the tab labeled "Shortcut".
- After the name of the jre.exe file, add "-cp {editor.jar location}
COM.xerox.digipaper.applet.editor.LinkEditor" where {editor.jar location} is replaced
by the location of editor.jar on your hard drive.
- Click Ok.
The editor is now installed on your computer, and ready for you to use it. Just
double-click on your newly made shortcut to run the program.
