Cornell Computer Science Ph.D. student Yannis Vetsikas finished third in the finals of the International Trading Agent Competition. This competition was held in conjunction with the 2001 ACM Conference on Electronic Commerce. Yannis competed over the internet in a combinatorial auction setting with a total of 28 teams from around the world, including teams from Stanford, AT&T Research, NEC Research and many other academic and industrial research labs.
