One of our current CS majors, Eugene Medynskiy, was selected as a finalist in this year's Computing Research Association (CRA) Undergraduate Research competition. Over the years, Eugene has worked with Dan Huttenlocher, Jon Kleinberg, Phoebe Sengers, Michael Macy, and Geri Gay.

The program recognizes undergraduate students attending universities or colleges in the United States or Canada who show outstanding research potential in an area of computing research. CRA seeks to strengthen research and advanced education in computing and allied fields. It does this by working to influence policy that impacts computing research, encouraging the development of human resources, contributing to the cohesiveness of the professional community and collecting and disseminating information about the importance and the state of computing research. Each plays an important role in achieving the organizational objectives.
