The paper presents experiment results on a lossless JPEG codec with different
predictors. The results show that two-dimensional predictors have better
performance. The codec gives optimal encoding by choosing different PSV
from given PSV choices. Comparison with other techniques are also presented.

Maybe medical images need Lossless JPEG.
