This book is about a girl who wants to be a writer, so she skips her senior year of high school (I don't remember whether she pulled off getting her degree early or what) and then spends the year that would have been her senior year educating herself to be a writer by reading books. She sets up a curriculum of books to read and then keeps a journal, both about her daily life but also about what she reads. It's very good, and you get to learn about this girl and see where her life heads as well. If you ever see a copy of this, I recommend it highly.
