Registration

Fee (regular): $550 — covers room hire, lunches, coffee breaks, welcome drinks and dinner, the excursion, and banquet.
Other dinners are at participants’ own expense -- respond to the survey for organized groups!

Travel

Nearest airport: Porto (Francisco Sá Carneiro, OPO), ≈67 km south of Viana do Castelo, with frequent European connections and some direct intercontinental flights.

There are multiple ways to get from OPO to Viana (direct coaches and other options). Once we collect everyone's arrival plans we will also organize transfers directly from the airport, if people want. Renting a car is not expensive, but if multiple people arrive at the same time doing a transfer will also not be too expensive.

Location of the meeting

The meeting will take place in the conference room of the Museu Das Artes Decorativas is a museum located in an 18th century mansion dedicated to the decorative arts exhibits a valuable collection of old Portuguese pieces from the 17th to the 19th centuries.

Welcome drinks and dinner: Sunday, Hotel D. Aninhas, 18:30–20:30, the cocktail hour will be in ``sala de estar'' (18:30-19:30) followed by a buffet dinner in their main dining room.

Excursion and Banquet: Wednesday afternoon/evening (March 4), departing from D. Aninhas at 2.15-2.30.
- Walking tour of Viana stopping at several landmarks, small break for a tasting of one of the town's famous sweet specialties.
- Scenic bus tour to Santa Luzia hilltop and the pre‑Romanesque castro.
- Banquet at Pousada Viana. Departure back to hotel at 22h00.
