So why do the files contained in "IE8-WindowsXP-KB978207-x86-ENU.exe" all have a date of "6-Jan-2010" or older?? And when the patch is installed, the files that are updated, like "mshtml.dll", have a date of "22-Dec-2009".

Wasn't the vulnerability, that this patch supposedly addresses, discovered (published) around 14-Jan-2010??
