Final projects should be done in groups of 2-3 students. Single-student projects are discouraged but acceptable. No group may be larger than 3 students.

Here are some suggested topic areas, other topics are also possible and are encouraged as well.

• Affine parametric motion estimation and video insertion (see Torr paper).
• Image segmentation combining motion and intensity (see Weiss paper).
• Constructing 3D models from 2D images (see Stereo and Motion handout).
• Recognizing people or gestures using pictorial structures (see Felzenszwalb paper).
• Tracking people using models, e.g., pictorial structures (see Felzenszwalb paper).
