firm: I must receive all submissions by the end of Friday, May 13.

online course
evaluation system will be available 05/02/11 12:00 pm through 05/11/11 6:00 pm.
Completion of the evaluation will be worth 1% of your final grade in the course.

in class promptly at 10:10 am. The quiz will cover assurance and web security.
Cross-site scripting will not be on the quiz.

Final project presentations
will occur during the timeslot the University has scheduled for our final
exam: Friday, May 13, 2–4:30 pm.

class: I demoed FindBugs on your Prototype submissions, not your
Alpha submissions.
- [04/06/11] You can pick up
your graded Quiz 2 from the CS homework handback office located
in UP 360. The office is open weekday afternoons.
- [04/02/11] You can now sign up for alpha
presentation timeslots with CMS. Note that we're still interested in hearing
about your approach to testing your system, even though specific testing
tools are no longer required. And system quality is not optional. :)
- [03/28/11] There will be a quiz this week
in class promptly at 10:10 am. The quiz will cover applied cryptography and TLS.
You don't need to memorize anything about the Java libraries.
- [03/11/11] The original release
of Part II of Homework 2 gave an
incorrect due date. The correct due date is 03/31/11, as Part I says. The
zip archive for Part II has been updated to correct this error.

If you are an undergraduate, you must use a paper add/drop form and follow the usual
procedure with your college registrar.
If you are a graduate student, you may use a paper add/drop form or you may
register at class on Jan. 28 or Feb. 4.
After Feb. 4, you must use a paper add/drop form.
You must be co-registered for
CS 5430
to take CS 5431.
