Project Summary

The project is to extend yt, an open-source, permissively-licensed python package for analyzing and visualizing volumetric data (https://yt-project.org/). Professor Matthew Turk at the University of Illinois U-C heads yt development and has several projects in mind, including interfacing yt with ParaView and VisIt, creating a web GUI for running simulations, and creating a run-tracker that follows simulations in progress.
