Background

Cook House would like an online event calendar system to facilitate sign ups for their house events in order to replace paper signups they have been currently using.

Project Summary

Student Assistants, Graduate Resident Fellows and any other person hosting an event in Cook should be able to add events to the event calendar, and other residents should be able to sign up for events on the website. Owners of events should be able to manage the event, and introduce a sign-up cap on an event if needed.

This project will take the form of a website, and will likely build off an online event sign-up system made for Bethe House by a previous CS 5150 team. The goal would be to generalize Bethe House's system in order to make it usable by many other houses, with Cook House as the first benefactor.
