Robbert van Renesse
Robbert van Renesse was the primary designer and implementer of the final version of the Amoeba distributed operating system and the EGOS educational operating system. He also was on the AT&T Bell Labs Plan 9 Operating System team.
Teaching Assistants
I am a senior studying computer science in the school of engineering. I am from Rochester, NY and in my free time I love to do gymnastics, workout, run, ski, and golf.
I am a PhD student doing research in systems and networking. Outside of academics, I enjoy exploring nature.
I’m a junior studying Computer Science, and my interests lie in systems software engineering, where I’ve gained experience through coursework and internships. Outside of school, I enjoy staying active outdoors.
I am a senior who has done research on operating systems, and am recently researching distributed systems. I also helped develop egos-2000, which is the OS used to teach part of this course. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing music and cooking.
