CS/INFO 3300: Data-Driven Web Applications

This course is an advanced introduction to Web application development. The material covered includes both relational and non-relational (NoSQL) storage management solutions, middle tier development with a focus on good software design practices, as well as the use of Web development frameworks and APIs. For their main course project, students develop a data-driven Facebook application.

The main platform for distributing course material such as the syllabus, lecture slides, homeworks etc. is the Course Management System (CMS). In addition, we will be using Piazza as a forum for student discussion. Therefore, this website is deliberately fairly minimalistic. If you have trouble accessing CMS or if you are not currently a student in the course but have questions, please contact Lucja (lak32).
