Text: Discrete Mathematics and Its Applications, Kenneth H. Rosen, McGraw-Hill (6th edition).
Grading: There will be a midterm and a final. Doing homework regularly is the best way to learn the material, and the grading reflects that. Homework, midterm, and exams will be weighted roughly as follows:
Midterm: 7:30pm March 9 in Upson B17
Homework: Homework will be due each week. They will be due at the beginning of class. Late homework will be accepted only under special circumstances. To compute the final homework grade, we will drop your lowest scoring assignment.
Academic Integrity: It's OK to discuss the problems with others,
but you MUST write
up solutions on your own, and understand what you are writing.
You may not copy any part of someone else's code or written homework.
To do so is a violation of the Academic Integrity Code.
