Duties & Responsibilities: As a co-op Programmer, you will focus on building new game systems, growing existing code, and/or tools programming. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of Programmers, Artists, and Designers on a high profile project. Potential platforms you may have the opportunity to work on include GBA, PSP, Nintendo DS, N Gage, and/or X Box. Co-ops may work in the Spring/Summer 2005 or Summer/Fall 2005. Responsibilities: + Implementation of software in C++ and other languages. + Debugging of software. + Participate in design and code reviews. + Follow group standards and best practices. + Seek guidance from more experienced programmers when working in new areas. + Design and write software under the direction of the lead programmer. + Track personal tasks and consult with the lead programmer on tasks progress. + Document designs, tools, and code developed. + Collaborate with artists and designers on the requirements and design of tools and systems. This is an Equal Employment Opportunity Qualifications: + Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related field. + Experience developing games for personal or class projects. + Strong aptitude in math. + Expert in the C++ language. + A positive attitude and desire to work on a team. + A strong desire to understand the technical aspects of creating a game. + Interest in expanding knowledge of different game technologies and systems + Be prepared to provide a coding demo, preferably showing a small but complete game project. + A passion for developing for high quality games.
